QUICKLY ADD SPACE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION
A lateral system is the most simplistic form of mobile high density
storage. In this system, only the front cabinets are movable. You just
roll the cabinets from side-to-side, allowing access to the cabinets
behind them. It’s a great advantage that the rear row is completely
independent from the front row. The movable carriages are placed in
front of existing cabinets, so you experience minimal disruption during
installation.

DESIGNED FOR
ROLLING STABILITY
For utmost rolling stability, we incorporate four wheels
and two tracks. Our mobile systems use hardened 31/4"
steel guide wheels for maximum ease of operation.
Flanged wheels guide along the front rail, and flat
wheels are used to roll along the rear rail. Each wheel
is equipped with dual factory sealed ball bearings,
rated to provide for weight loads of 1,325 pounds.
LEVEL SYSTEMS PREVENT CABINET DRIFTING
We make sure your system is perfectly level to prevent
the cabinets from drifting during use. The
weight-bearing tracks are supported their entire length
and simply will not permit flex under heavy weight
loads.

ALUMINUM CARRIAGES
ABSORB SHOCK
Our carriages are made from heavy gauge aluminum extrusions.
These structures absorb shock as the filing cabinets reach the
rubber end stops. The welded frame includes an L-shaped
containment for cabinets to nest within the frame. And, since
aluminum is 10 times stronger by weight than steel, our
carriages are stronger and more durable than steel carriages
used by competitors.

TWO ANTI-TIP
DEVICES ENSURE SAFETY
Safety will always be the number one design criteria at
Jeter. Two anti-tip devices are included on all lateral
mobile systems. First, an anti-tip connects the top of
the front cabinets to the rear stationary cabinets. The
other is an integral part of the carriage to prohibit
derailment from the track. The track is low profile and
very close to the floor. This permits step-in (not
step-up) access for convenience. |
